We have a full time position available in Rockford, Illinois for a Verification & Integration Engineer with aviation experience.  Our client designs and manufactures aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft.

As Verification & Integration Engineer, you will need FAA certification experience as well as 10 years of experience executing requirements on large programs.

This is a lead position and as such you will be responsible for:

·         Ensuring creation of the verification methods and plans

·         Driving requirements from the Specification Control Drawing (SCD) level received from the customer to the detailed component level

·         Developing and executing the plan that will support the program’s certification requirements

·         Making sure that the requirements received from the customer are at the tier 3 level, are validated and are verifiable at the tier 3 level.

·         Conduct system level trade studies

·         Ensure that project milestones are met within time frames and budget

·         Ensures test facility requirements are identified and in place to support program requirements

·         Develop and execute technical risk analysis methods and gap closure plans as well as report risk management status to management

·         Plan and oversee the implementation for facilities requirements for the HS verification efforts from the component level to the tier 3 system level

·         Systems integration documentation

·         Make sure  that the requirements received from the customer are at the tier 3 level, are validated and are verifiable at the tier 3 level.

·         Oversee test planning and execution

Requirements:

BSEE or BSME

10+ years of relevant verification and integration experience

Good communication skills

10 years of experience executing requirements on large programs

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency

FAA Certification Experience
