AFCEA - Camp Pendleton Chapter

C4I Staffing is a proud supporter of the Camp Pendleton Chapter of AFCEA.
The mission of the Camp Pendleton Chapter is to enhance government and industry participation in the field of information systems, intelligence, electronic warfare, computer technology, and testing through cooperation, information sharing, association, and encouraging education in related technical fields.
Here are some of the projects in which we are involved:
Support of the One Marine Expeditionary Force Communications Training Center (IMEF CTC-1)
We present the honor graduate of each of the Radio Supervisor Courses and the Wire Supervisor Courses with an NCO sword and a 1 year membership to AFCEA. The runners up each receive a 1 year membership to AFCEA.
Supporting Education – AFCEA Education Scholarship Foundation
Working with the AFCEA Education Scholarship Foundation, we have expanded our Science Teaching Tools Program to include 11 high schools that support the Camp Pendleton/North County communities. In 2009, the chapter was able to issue 2 $1000 grants to local high school science departments, via competitive requests.
We are proud to be able to offer Injured Service Disabled War Veterans’ Scholarship to help support the educational goals of our brave fighting men and women.
We work with the School Guidance Counselors at each of surrounding High Schools to select deserving candidates for a $1,000 Scholarship. In 2008, we expanded the program from seven to eleven high schools and selected candidates on the basis of their pursuit of a degree in Engineering or Electronics. Chapter officers attended an “Awards Night Banquet” at the recipient's High Schools to personally deliver the scholarship checks.
